rehabINK is excited to present the inaugural episode of the rehabINK podcast!
Our team has embarked on an adventure to bring additional research-driven perspectives in the field of rehabilitation science. The result of this journey is our new podcast channel through which we share interactive knowledge with the wider community. (Be sure to check back soon to read our latest print issue – Technology: Adapting the Future of Rehabilitation)
To kickstart the rehabINK podcast, we’ve teamed up with the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute Speaker Series to recap one of their recent events on “Women and Brain Health” and highlight some of the boundary-pushing research from the guest speakers. We discuss the difference between sex and gender, the impact of traumatic brain injury on women and provide our own insights on how health research has a long way to go in effectively addressing sex and gender.
